Heading out to play a last-minute opening set in Silicon Valley today, Sept 7th. It’s a free outdoor show in Johnson Park, 268 Waverley St. I go round 5.30 or 6pm. The headliners are bluegrass band Never Come Down.

Online Rock Writing Workshop/Masterclass December 14th 2022

Meet Factory, Prague 20:00 hrs Czech time, (Pacific time 11am) Part of the Synapse Knowledge Project.

The talk will take place via Zoom. Entrance is free of charge. On the morning of the event - Wednesday Dec 14 - the Synapse Knowledge facebook page will publish the Zoom link and password to get in. There will be a Q&A at the end of the talk.

This show at the magical, intimate Lost Church in North Beach, S.F features Sylvie and Marisa Anderson.

Marisa is a brilliant and eclectic musician. The New Yorker describes has “one of the most distinctive guitar players of her generation.”

Sylvie will be opening the show with a 45-minute set of her own songs and a few favorite covers.

Calgary Folk Music Festival 2022

Canada’s renowned annual four-day folk festival runs from July 21-24. Sylvie will be playing on Saturday and Sunday.

Among the multiple artists featured this year are Josh Ritter, Jim White, Squirrel Nut Zippers, The Wood Brothers and Spoon.
