Two special appearances coming up!

The year-long I'm Your Man book tour is officially over and done, but Sylvie will be making a couple of special appearances in October. She'll be part of an amazing, six-woman literary lineup that includes Anne Perry, the bestselling mystery novelist, and essayist/playwrights Victoria Zackheim and Barbara Graham. They'll be reading under the banner of 'Women's Voices' as part of Litcrawl, the grand finale of the S.F Litquake Festival.  Saturday 19th October, 6pm, The Women's Building, 3543 18th St, Come early. It's going to be packed!

The following week, Sylvie will be making a guest appearance at Perla Batalla's concert 'The Leonard Cohen Songbook',  in Carmel, California. Perla, a Grammy-nominated vocalist, composer and arranger, was one of Leonard Cohen's most noted backing singers - it was Cohen, in fact, who encouraged her to embark on a solo career, which includes her beautiful tribute to him, the album Bird on the Wire.  Sylvie will join Perla  singing one of Leonard Cohen's songs, and she'll also do a short reading from her book. Thursday 24th October, 8pm, the Sunset Center, Carmel-by-the-Sea, CA.
