Sunset tour

The legendary Giant Sand, formed by Howe Gelb 30 years ago, is playing one last farewell tour before disbanding.Sylvie - who worked with Howe Gelb and band member Thoger Lund on her album Sylvie  and played with them earlier this year (see photo) - will be the support act on the band's California concerts:10th June, Felton, CA at Don Quixote Music Hall13th June, San Francisco at the Swedish American Hall15th June, Los Angeles at the Echo, which was voted "L.A's coolest small venue for live music."Giant Sand's shows are not to be missed, and these will be even more special.
