New video!
This video of me singing and playing “Sweet California”, from my last album “Blue On Blue”, was shot in the winter of 2020, during the Covid lockdown, when all the music venues and nightclubs in San Francisco were closed. It was made by Justin Frahm and Tom Heyman, two S.F musicians, as part of a YouTube series called “Sad Bastard Club” they decided to make as a contribution to help keep music going during those dark times. I just saw it this week for the first time, more than a year and a half later.
There was no audience - just me, my friend Brad Brooks, who played keyboards, and Justin and Tom in one of my favourite S.F clubs, the Make Out Room.
