Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays

Back in the 80s I was living in London and writing for Kerrang! , the heavy rock magazine. We all got together in the office one day for photo to make into a Christmas card - and this is it!

That’s me in the middle wearing a blonde wig. When I first wrote for Kerrang! it was under the pseudonym Laura Canyon since I was also writing under my own name for its sister magazine Sounds, hence the “disguise”. The only reason I’’m not grinning ear to ear is that the wig was really smelly! Those years at Kerrang! were such fun. It helps when the editor-in-chief is unashamed to pose topless! So many memories.
