Goodbye to the Americas, hello America!

Sylvie returned from her performances in Cartagena,Colombia with a slew of triumphant reviews and articles. There were reviews and interviews in all the major newspapers –  twice in El Tiempo, twice in El Universal, El Espectador – as well as in the cultural magazine Arcadia and the Colombian airlines magazine Copa: Panorama, which ran a five page feature on Sylvie in Spanish and English. Sylvie also spoke and played on Colombian television (the photo is of her being interviewed by the TV presenter in a confession box!) and was  interviewed at length on her career on Colombian radio W. She’s been invited back to the country to perform again, this time in Bogota later in the Spring.

Sylvie has just completed a West Coast US tour, performing as a duo with British singer-songwriter Jason McNiff: six concerts and six live radio sessions in just  one week  – from the Bay Area, via Davis and Sacramento, to Reno, Nevada.
